Vari won gold medal in MP Lawn Tennis League More than 100 players participated in the tournament
Betul’s player Wari Patankar won the gold medal in the MP Tennis League (MPTL) competition held in Indore. Vari won gold in singles competition in girls under 14 category by defeating Charvi Singh of Gwalior in the finals. More than 100 players participated in this tournament. Wari , who won the gold medal at the age of just 14, said that she faced a bit of a challenge during the competition. But he faced the challenges head on.
She was able to win the gold medal by displaying excellent sportsmanship. Vari is a student of class 8 in Satpura Valley School. Wari practices lawn tennis for 3 to 4 hours daily at Tapti Club in Betul. She has been playing at the national level for the last 2 years, reaching the semi-finals in the 2022 Asian Championship played at Agartala (Tripura).
