Rewa, Balaghat-Chhindwara; mercury will drop 2 degrees 2 days of winter
Due to snowfall in northern India, there will be mild winter in Madhya Pradesh for the next two days. In some areas, the mercury may drop by 3 to 4 degrees, while in other cities there will be a drop of up to 2 degrees. Cold wave is likely to prevail in Rewa, Balaghat and Chhindwara on Wednesday. Cold winds can blow at a speed of 14 to 16 kilometers per hour. Due to which the chill will increase.
According to meteorologists, there was effect of cold wave in Rewa and Balaghat on Tuesday, the night was coldest in Malanjkhand (Balaghat). Here the mercury reached 5.5 degree Celsius. The weather will be cold on Wednesday as well.
The nights are so cold now
According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature has reached 5.5 degrees in Malanjkhand, 6 in Rewa, 6.4 in Umaria, 6.6 in Pachmarhi. Apart from this, the temperature is less than 10 degrees in Betul, Bhopal, Datia, Dhar, Guna, Gwalior, Rajgarh, Ujjain, Chhindwara, Damoh, Jabalpur, Khajuraho, Mandla, Rewa, Naugaon, Satna. The mercury is expected to remain below 10 degrees on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights as well.
Fall in mercury during the day as well
Along with the night, the day’s mercury has also declined. The mercury has reached below 25 degrees in Narsinghpur, Khajuraho, Satna, Rewa, Malanjkhand. At the same time, a drop in day temperature has also been recorded in cities like Bhopal, Datia, Gwalior, Raisen, Indore, Sagar, Umaria etc. There was a lot of heat in 2016, 2018, 2019 and 2021. The mild summer begins here only after the second fortnight of February. The last week of the month is the hottest. According to the trend, the highest day temperature in the month has been recorded in the last week itself. On February 10 this year, the mercury had crossed 33 degrees.
