Minister said Encroachment removed from 23 thousand acres of government land
Sewage system, water, solid waste management, pucca drains etc. will be developed in the capital Bhopal with Rs 1600 crore. In-charge minister Bhupendra Singh gave this information while taking out the Vikas Yatra on Saturday. He said that 23 thousand acres of government land in the state has been freed from encroachment. Suraj Colony will be built on this land for the poor. Where the houses of the poor will be built.
Minister Singh informed that Rs 450 crore has been spent for providing adequate water to the people in Bhopal, Rs 1009 crore for making underground drains under the sewerage system, Rs 60 crore for solid waste management, Rs 44 crore for improving the air quality of the city. 18 crore has been sanctioned for paving the drain in Banganga. The Minister in-charge had participated in the Vikas Yatra in the South-West Assembly constituency on Saturday.
Suraj Colony will be built
Urban Development and Housing Minister Singh said that 23 thousand acres of government land in the state has been freed from encroachment. Suraj Colony will be built on this land for the poor. He said that under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Rs 2.5 lakh is being given to eligible beneficiaries for houses. A new policy is being introduced to give residential leases to families who do not have land to build houses. In Vikas Yatra, former minister Umashankar Gupta said that various public welfare schemes of the government are changing the lives of the poor. The main objective of the government is the welfare of the poor. Bhopal Municipal Corporation President Kishan Suryavanshi said that we contest elections only on the issues of development. BJP District President Sumit Pachauri addressed. President of Mati Kala Board Ramdayal Prajapati was also present.
