Khelo India Malkhamb Madhya Pradesh gets 5 gold and 4 silver medals
Khelo India Youth Games concludes On Friday, the Madhya Pradesh team received five gold and four silver medals in the Malkhamb Games under the prize distribution ceremony at the Khelo India Youth Games. Madhya Pradesh’s team could not do anything special in Yoga, but has brought laurels to Madhya Pradesh by bringing five gold in Malkhamb.
Malkhamb’s competition started on Monday under the Khelo India Youth Games. A total of 219 players from 24 states participated in the competition in three events: Rope, Roll and Hanging event. In the closing ceremony held on Friday, the players of Madhya Pradesh got medals. Maharashtra got first prize, Madhya Pradesh second and Chhattisgarh got third prize in Malkhamb team ranking girls. In Malkhamb team ranking boys-girls combined, Madhya Pradesh got first prize, Maharashtra second and Chhattisgarh got third prize. Rakesh Kumar Varda of Chhattisgarh got Gold Medal, Yatin Kori of Madhya Pradesh got Silver Medal and Monu Netam of Chhattisgarh got Bronze Medal in Balak Mallakhamb Pole event. Gold medal to Tanshree Suresh Jadhav of Maharashtra, Silver to Siddhi Gupta of Madhya Pradesh and Bronze to Pavitra of Tamil Nadu and Samiksha Vijay Suradkar of Maharashtra in Girls Mallakhamb pole event.
Malkhamb Boys Individual
Gold medal in all-round final went to Pranav Kori of Madhya Pradesh, Silver medal to Shardul Vaishali Rishikesh of Maharashtra and Bronze medal to Rakesh Kumar Varda of Chhattisgarh. Maharashtra’s Samiksha Vijay Suradkar got gold medal, Madhya Pradesh’s Siddhi Gupta got silver and Maharashtra’s Tanshree Suresh Jadhav got bronze medal in Malkhamb girls’ individual all-round final event.

competition. Devendra Patidar of Madhya Pradesh got gold medal, Rakesh Kumar Varda of Chhattisgarh got silver and Santosh Shorey of Chhattisgarh got bronze medal in boys Mallakhamb rope final event. In the hanging event, Kundan Singh Kachwah of Madhya Pradesh won gold medal, Ranveer of Maharashtra won silver and Shardul of Maharashtra won bronze medal.
